About the Event

The York Residency Museum is hosting a Free Native Gardening Workshop and Planting Day on Sunday 17 July.

Chris Ferreira from The Forever Project, whose motto is 'Inspire, Empower, Change' is coming to York to present on all things native gardens and we are very excited!

This is a free event sponsored by the York Shire for the community and we invite all interested residents and museum garden friends to attend.

What to bring – just yourself and wet weather gear if needed – we recommend you wear a hat and boots in our great outdoors.

If you want to help with the planting please bring your own spade, gloves and other favourite garden tools.

9am - Event kicks off at for those eager to help with the planting. 11am – 12 noon Chris will present and answer all your gardening questions. 1pm finish up. 

Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day and the museum will also be open to visitors 11am - 3pm.
