About the Event
This FREE workshop is being held to celebrate the OPENING of the "Wooroloo Garden for the Community*.
Presented by The Forever Project topics will include:
- Firewise home & garden principles
- Safe & effective weed control
- Garden recovery after fire
- Wicking bed gardening
Light lunch will be provided.

The Wooroloo Bushfire Community Recovery & Outreach Program is jointly funded through the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements. This project has also been supported by the Department of Communities Community Gardens program, Parky Care and Community Bank Mundaring.
This enhanced space could, in the words of the community;
- create social connections through gardening together
- offer a means to share sustainability and resilience building in the community
- help to foster a sense of community spirit
- provide a quiet, reflective area that demonstrates regrowth and renewal
- showcase the best of water wise and fire wise planting.
