About the Event
Kambarang (second spring) is a great chance to prepare your garden for the upcoming hot and dry weather of Birak and Bunuru (first and second summer) and the new cuts to the garden bore sprinkler roster. In this workshop, sustainability educator Chris Ferreira (The Forever Project) will demonstrate:
- how to improve your soil to reduce water use (the trick is in how much water it can hold, not how much you apply!)
- the best plant selection and plant care for our hot and dry summers
- tips for your irrigation system.
